Community Forum: Threats to Voter Rights – What’s at Stake?

Join the League of Women Voters for this special event, "Threats to Voter Rights: What's at Stake? A Community Forum."

Is voter suppression an issue in Illinois? Attend this timely forum to understand the threat of voter suppression, clarify who is eligible to vote in our communities, and learn ways to encourage voter turnout. This is the critical information needed now to help assure a fair election in 2018.

Presented by the League of Women Voters of Oak Park and River Forest with guest panelists Ami Ghandi, Chicago Lawyer's Committee for Civil Rights; Andy Kang, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Chicago; Edwin Yohnka, ACLU Illinois; and Jan Dorner, League of Women Voters Illinois. Voter registration will be available 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
