McDonald's just doubled its CEO's pay to $15 million & is spending hundreds of millions on a new HQ in the city. But it hasn't changed how it treats its workers. They are still struggling to survive. The low wages paid by McDonald's cost taxpayers more than $1 billion a year, because more than half are forced to rely on public assistance to support their families.
