World renowned Artist Reporter, Franklin McMahon has been at the forefront of social change since parachuting from a B17 into WWII Germany. A selection of McMahon's works covering the Emmett Till Trial, Civil Rights Movement, Politics, World Studio, Vatican II, War and Housing Protests, Chicago Conspiracy Trial will be featured in this exhibition.
UPDATE: We are welcoming two guest speakers to our Second Saturday on May 9th at 10am. Oak Park Village Trustee Brian Straw and candidate for U.S. Congress in the 4th District, Dr. Patty Garcia, are joining us! And we hope you will join us too!

Please join us in welcoming Oak Park Village Trustee Brian Straw!
Trustee Straw first served in Oak Park on the Transportation Commission before being elected to the Village Board. More recently he was in the news when he was charged by federal prosecutors in connection with his peaceful protests at the Broadview ICE Detention Facility. The felony charges have been dropped, but he is still facing misdemeanor charges. We are excited to welcome him as our guest speaker!
