Through the the eyes of chef-heroes like Bourdain, Dan Barber, Mario Batali, Massimo Bottura, and Danny Bowien, audiences will see how the world’s most influential chefs make the most of every kind of food, transforming what most people consider scraps into incredible dishes that create a more secure food system. WASTED! exposes the criminality of food waste and how it’s directly contributing to climate change and shows ushow each of us can make small changes – all of them delicious – to solve one of the greatest problems of the 21st Century.

Thank you to everyone who came out to DPOP's Second Saturday meeting today! We had a great crowd for Political Researcher Brian Stryker who filled us in on what happened in the 2024 election and gave us hope for the future. Please join us in welcoming Political Researcher Brian Stryker as our guest speaker this Saturday, January 11th at 10am. He will discuss what we know thus far about the November 2024 election results.
Brian Stryker is Managing Partner at Impact Research and manages the firm’s Chicago office. He has a specialty in Midwestern politics, having polled on successful campaigns for Governor, Senate, and Congress, including Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Senator Elissa Slotkin, and Rep. Nikki Budzinski.
Mr. Stryker has also done work for labor unions across the country including research on broad union branding, specific contract negotiations, worker safety/training issues, and organizing drives at public universities. He has also helped repeal so-called “right to work” laws in multiple states to expand the right to join and form a union, both at the ballot and through the legislatures.
