DPOP FUNDRAISER
Thank you to everyone who came out and made DPOP's Annual Fundraiser PERSIST a huge success! We were thrilled to welcome U.S. Representative Danny Davis and State Representative La Shawn Ford as well as many other friends at the event! After such a fun night celebrating Democratic values with good friends and good food, we are ready to get to work on the midterm elections! Go Dems!

were happy to welcome Rep. La Shawn Ford as our guest speaker as well as Shantel Franklin, candidate for State Representative (8th District). Representative Camille Lilly and candidate for Judicial Sub Circuit Jarrett Knox also spoke.
We are on Summer Break for the August Second Saturday meeting and we will resume in September! See you then!
JUNE SECOND SATURDAY
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our monthly Second Saturday meeting. We were happy to welcome Cook County Board Commissioner Tara Stamps as our guest speaker after an introduction by our Committeewoman Eileen Lynch. We had a lively discussion in which Representative Camille Lilly joined Commissioner Stamps in dialogue with our caring and engaged audience.

We are especially grateful to Village Trustee Brian Straw and candidate for U.S. Congress, Dr. Patty Garcia, for being our guest speakers as well as Mr. Straw's attorney, Chris Parente, who also spoke.
